This fund provides tuition for two full-time Hawai’i resident undergraduate students at University of Hawai’i at Manoa pursuing a program of study with Hawai’i focus.

Emalani V. Searfoss Memorial Scholarship:
To assist students studying Hawaiian culture, including dance, language, and chanting at the University of Hawai’i at Manoa.

Pacific Island Institute Hawaiian Studies Graduate Scholarship:
To assist graduate students enrolled in the MA programs at the University of Hawai’i at Manoa’s school of Pacific and Asian studies or Hawai’inuiakea School of Hawaiian knowledge.

Na Lei ‘Oiwi Scholarship:
To assist students who are pursuing a degree in Hawaiian studies or Hawaiian language at the University of Hawaiian knowledge.

Lokomaika’ikalani Snakenberg Scholarship:
To support graduate level study and research in Hawaiian language. Recipient to be enrolled in a University of Hawai’i at Manoa graduate degree program but study/ research may be conducted elsewhere. Funding available for academic and/or living expenses, research and/or travel expenses.

Pua Hopkins Scholarship:
To enable full-time or part-time undergraduate or graduate UHM students in any area of study with a potential to contribute to Hawaiian language and/or culture studies.
