Ke Ali'i Pauahi Foundation

Established in 1887, Kamehameha Schools began its mission and has since educated thousands of children through its educational and outreach programs. Yet despite the impressive numbers, they still only reach about seven percent of eligible, school-age Hawaiian children.

To further and extend Kamehameha Schools’ reach, Ke Ali’i Pauahi Foundation began operations in 2001 as a Hawaii nonprofit corporation organized to exclusively support Kamehameha Schools’ education purpose. The Foundation is exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and qualifies as a supporting organization of Kamehameha Schools as described in Section 509(a)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

The mission of Ke Ali’i Pauahi Foundation is to support the mission of Kamehameha Schools by seeking and developing new and diverse sources of income to support the ever-increasing educational needs and goals of people of Hawaiian ancestry. The Foundation accomplishes its mission in a number of ways. First and foremost, it establishes donor-funded endowed scholarships for Hawaiians.

Through your support and aloha many more Hawaiians will realize their dreams through Ke Aliʻi Pauahi’s legacy.

We invite you to join us in helping more Hawaiian children with your tax deductible donation. Please consider making a gift in our Giving section.
